THE MATERNAL-CHILD DYAD FOUNDATION
About Our Foundation
Our Mission
The Maternal-Child Dyad Foundation is an Alabama non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating healthcare barriers for mothers, infants, and young children. Through mobile health sites and community outreach clinics at partner locations, we bring primary care, routine vaccines and immunizations, developmental milestone screenings, maternal health evaluations, mental health support, and community assistance referrals directly into local communities.
The Dyad Healthcare Model
True maternal-child health spans the complete maternal journey—from preconception through postpartum—and encompasses the child's acute, physical, and mental health needs. By evaluating mother and child together during single clinical encounters, we eliminate care gaps and build resilient families.
